Specific Responsibilities:

  • Support the Hubbard in Prevention coalition mission and vision statements
  • Develop plans of action to carry out the mission
  • Regularly attend scheduled coalition meetings (9 meetings per year
  • Serve as a member of a committee
  • Participate in community outreach to promote and recruit supporters of the coalition’s mission and activities
  • Be an ambassador to the community sector you’re representing
  • Refrain from the use of illegal drugs and the illegal or abusive use of alcohol and/or other drugs

Time Commitment:

  • Monthly coalition meetings (1-2 hours per meeting)
  • Committee meetings and trainings (periodically)
  • Youth event involvement (1 event per year)
  • Membership terms will be one year and shall be renewable indefinitely

Personal Qualities:

  • Commitment to improving the lives of youth in Hubbard County
  • Knowledge of Hubbard County and its people
  • Enthusiasm
  • Resourcefulness

Serving as a voting member of the coalition will provide you with the opportunities to:

  • Broaden your knowledge
  • Gain new experiences and skills
  • Increase communication skills
  • Work with other community members
  • Help make decisions on key issues by voting Associate Member Description Specific
